GGR 50th Anniversary Celebrations (Nimitz Mansion)

Thank you for your interest in the Golden Gate Region (GGR) of the Porsche Club of America (PCA), serving San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties in Northern California.  Here at GGR, we have a wide range of activities and although we try to offer something for everyone, we place more emphasis on events that offer the opportunity to learn to drive your Porsche to its full potential.

If you are unsure about membership, let me tell you about our club. The PCA, with over 100,000 members, is divided into 13 zones across the US. Those zones are further divided into 139 geographical regions. Golden Gate Region, in Zone 7, is one of the nation's largest and most active of the PCA’s regions with over 1500 members. If you live outside the San Francisco Bay Area, you should visit the PCA National web page to determine the region closest to you.

Membership in the PCA costs $46 per year, which then allows you to become a regional member. You need to be at least 18 years of age and currently own or lease a Porsche. You may also enroll a family member (relative) or affiliate member (friend) at no additional charge. You can join online via PCA National.

Membership in the PCA also provides you with the opportunity to talk with people who own and drive the same kind of car you do. It provides contacts for Porsche related services in our area.  As part of your membership, you will receive PCA’s outstanding monthly national magazine, Panorama. Members also can place ads for free in Panorama, and on our web site to buy or sell Porsche related goods.

GGR publishes an online monthly newsletter, The Nugget, which will tell you more about GGR and some of our outstanding upcoming events. You also may read back-issues of the Nugget on our website.
