Planning for a GGR Christmas!

Yes, I know, I know, it seems a bit early to think about Christmas, but we’ve recently signed a contract with Blackhawk Auto Museum to host the GGR Christmas party this year, for Lunch (catered by Scott’s Seafood) on Sunday December 10. Admission to the Museum is included. This year there will be 4 events in one:

  • GGR Christmas Party – Everyone invited !
  • Volunteer Appreciation Dinner – To thank our key GGR event volunteers and board
  • Autocross Awards
  • Time Trials Awards – Back after a 20 year hiatus!

Speaking of events, we’re already busy planning next year’s events and hope to publish a calendar in the January timeframe. We have already confirmed 4 track weekends and we are working on potentially 2 weekends at Laguna next year (WIP). We have also requested autocross days from both Crows Landing and Salinas. Stay tuned!

GGR Elections are also currently in progress, so look back in your inbox for your ballot if you haven’t yet cast your ballot (it was sent the 1st week of November) and cast your vote. After 6 years on the board, I’ve decided to give another member the honor of guiding the club for the next term, though I won’t be going far (apparently) as I’ll still have an advisory role and have been asked to take on the dealer rep role. And you can always find me either at the track or at an autocross. Or at the Christmas Party. Door prizes, Scott’s Seafood is catering, just sayin’ here’s that link again: msreg.com/2023ggrholiday
