Greetings GGR Drivers:

We hope all of you have your cars ready to go for the 2024 track season.

We are writing to remind you of our upcoming event at Thunderhill East on April 6th and 7th.  We will be running our normal counterclockwise configuration and conducting time trials on Sunday afternoon.

In addition to welcoming a group of new students, we will also be offering intermediate and advanced level in-car and/or lead follow instruction to those of you who desire it.

The club has purchased several Vbox data acquisition units which we can transfer from car to car.  We will be experimenting with these over the course of the weekend with an eye toward making them available to our drivers along with someone to assist you with interpreting the data and creating a plan to improve your driving.

As many of you know, the sooner people sign up for an event, the easier it is for your track team to plan run groups, make instructor assignments, and take care of all of those other details required to make our events run efficiently.  So PLEASE take a few moments and sign up at your earliest convenience.  It will greatly assist us in finalizing plans for the weekend.

Also, please be sure to mark your calendars for the other track events we have booked thus far:

May       4-5                          Buttonwillow DE and Club Race (Central Coast will host an event on Friday)

June 29-30                          Sonoma DE and Club Race (Diablo will host an event on Friday)

October 12-13           Thunderhill DE and Club Race (Diablo will host an event on Friday)

We are still working on booking additional track dates and will inform all of you just as soon as they are finalized.
