PCA-GGR Autocross Enthusiasts,

Our PCA-GGR Volunteers & Awards Luncheon was held at the Grand Bay Hotel in Redwood City on Saturday, January 24, 2026.  The event was well organized with great food and wine and was a terrific opportunity to recognize the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to enable the success of our Golden Gate Region Club, and to acknowledge the awardees who demonstrated their driving enthusiasm and skills during 2025.  Many thanks to the organizers for arranging such a great event!

The 2026 Autocross Season is here and like many I’m anticipating getting back on course!  

We’ve kicked off with the announcement of our first event – PCA-GGR AX1 – at Crows Landing NAS on Saturday, February 28, 2025.  For enthusiasts wanting to make a weekend of it PCA-LPR will host its first autocross of the season on Sunday, March 1, 2026.  

Our second autocross is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, also at Crows Landing NAS and will be announced 3-4 weeks prior.  Note that PCA-LPR will host its second event on that same weekend on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in case you want to plan to run on both days.

We are also excited to announce that due in part to sponsorship and generosity of Porsche Redwood City during 2025, we acquired and customized our new Continental Cargo “TailWind” Autocross Trailer and have it ready to go for the 2026 Autocross Season (see photos).  We also replaced many of our older autocross cones with shiny new ones without tire marks that we anticipate will not stay that way for long!  

Also, following a meeting involving several PCA-GGR Board members, Porsche Redwood City remains a committed sponsor of the PCA-GGR Autocross Series for 2026 and will provide additional one-time funding to help cover the cost to replace our loaner helmets.
