A Fast Start to GGR Social Events in 2026
Dear GGR Members,
The year is ramping up quickly! Our Volunteers and Awards Dinner in January was a lively and well-attended event - check out the galleries from our amazing photography volunteers, George Komoto and Hannibal Chang: George Komoto Gallery; Hannibal Chang Gallery. Alas, I personally had to miss this gathering due to travel.
In February, we held our first Cars and Coffee of the year in partnership with ISSIMI Meccanica and with support from Kwan Insurance Company (a Hagerty partner). Despite rainy weather we got a strong showing of Porsche enthusiasts, with a packed display lot featuring a Singer, a Spirit 70 (courtesy of Porsche Redwood City), several aircooled 911’s and a variety of models from 944 to modern GT cars. They don’t melt in the rain! The new afternoon format was well-received and the snacks disappeared quickly. We plan to keep most of our C&C events at the traditional morning format, but will leave room for occasional afternoon gatherings. Check out our social media for the shots (I included a few phone photos here as well).
Coming up next we have our Women’s event - ladies of GGR, come join us for a delightful morning of conversations, sweet treats and camaraderie at Porsche Redwood City Cakes and Conversations on March 7th. Due to the generous support of Porsche Redwood City, we are able to offer free admission to this event. Due to limited capacity registration will be required.
Our next Cars and Coffee is on March 14th with the amazing Euro Clinic team - it will be a fun, lively family and pet friendly event - bring your whole crew out!
We are looking forward to seeing you at our events and as always do not hesitate to drop us a note if you would like to volunteer at our Social events or have any ideas and suggestions.
Kind regards,
Diana
