GGR President’s Blog for May 2026
Dear GGR Members,
Summer is about to kick in and I’m just so pleased with how the Club events are going so far. All of the Directors are working hard and having a lot of fun putting on great events for the membership to enjoy!
We designed it now so that even if you don’t participate in our competitive (Autocross and Track) and registered events (Motoring, Rally, Concours) events, there is something to do with PCA-GGR every two weeks:
The First Saturday of the month is the GGR Bicycle Ride. You can join our Strava group or email Henry Mahlstedt at cycling@pca-ggr.org if you have any questions. Even if you don’t join the ride, some of us end up at Fieldwork San Mateo around 11ish for some food and a drink. Just grab a seat next to the people wearing spandex.
The Third Friday of the month is our Friday Night Social at Devil’s Canyon Brewery in San Carlos at 5:00. No registration is required so just show up, grab a drink and meet new and old members.
Plus there is typically a monthly Cars and Coffee event that our Social Director, Diana Bogorodskaya, arranges. These take place across the Bay Area, so check our events calendar regularly to get the details.
